Loma Linda Veterans’ Village is an 87-unit affordable apartment community for low‐income Veterans and their families in Loma Linda, California.

The new development was designed to feature a series of amenities that cater to Veterans with special needs such as accessible units with larger door openings, grab bars, wheel chair turnaround spaces within units, as well as removable cabinets at countertops for wheel chair knee and toe clearance.

Meta Housing has designed this project to complement the existing architecture of the local neighborhood by constructing six separate buildings that seamlessly flow into the single family residences that surround the community, creating a collection of smaller scale buildings versus a large scale multifamily community.

Loma Linda Veterans Village also includes the latest in sustainable and energy efficient features, including Energy Star labeled dishwashers, and was built to a GreenPoint rating greater than 50.

The apartment community features a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom floorplans, as well as a variety of amenities that encourage community interaction and engagement including large community areas, a clubhouse, pool, children’s play area, community garden, fitness center, barbeques, and basketball and volleyball courts, among others.
