Main Street Plaza Apartments and Annex on Main provide 65 units of much needed housing for veterans experiencing chronic homelessness and homelessness, individuals with special needs, and low-income families, including veterans.

Located at the entrance to Old Historic Roseville, Main Street Plaza and Annex on Main revitalized a city-owned vacant lot and adjacent blighted lot. The new, community-oriented development features commercial retail on the ground floor and a pedestrian paseo bisecting the two buildings, which connects the development to the historic area and surrounding residential neighborhood. The new 65 units house families and special needs individuals, while creating a space to serve the broader Roseville community.

Financed utilizing a unique 4% and 9% Hybrid structure, Main Street Plaza and Annex on Main represent a true public private partnership.

Meta Housing funded the project with a City of Roseville capital loan, land loan, and rental subsidy vouchers from the Roseville Housing Authority. Additionally, the project received a critical capital grant from Placer County Health and Human Services for the construction of 10 Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) units, as well as ongoing funding for case management services. The project also partners with the Veterans Affairs of Auburn for Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH) vouchers and case management services for the formerly homeless and chronically homeless veteran residents. The Home Depot Foundation also granted the project important funding for the construction of the veterans’ units.
