Oakland 34, a new, 33-unit senior apartment community, is the cornerstone of a redevelopment along MacArthur Boulevard in Oakland.
Meta Housing Corporation acquired the land, which was originally entitled for a for-sale condo project, and completed the necessary re-entitlements in order to construct this new, affordable rental community.
Oakland 34 will be part of the transformation of an entire Oakland neighborhood, in which there are currently a number of projects under construction.
Meta Housing Corporation’s new community was financed with 9% tax credits, as well as funding from the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco’s AHP fund.
