The Cannery is a new 100-percent affordable housing project with 104 units designated for families making between 50 to 60 percent of the area median income. The project is approximately 141,157 SF and is located on a 4.94-acre site on Lewis Street in Gilroy, California. The project consists of five one-bedroom live/work units, 71 two-bedroom units, and 28 three-bedroom units.

The project includes approximately 1,491 square feet of community space, consisting of a community dining room, community lounge with kitchen and dining room, exercise room, outdoor park, playground, community garden, outdoor eating area, covered parking, bike storage, and on-site management. There is a total of 197 on-site surface parking spaces.

The project is located in a residential area of Gilroy and offers easy access to many neighborhood amenities, including transit stops, grocery stores, public parks, the Gilroy Public Library, and local schools.
