Meta Housing has broken ground on One Lake Apartments, a 190-unit affordable workforce housing community for families and individuals in the Solano County submarket of Fairfield, California.

According to Kasey Burke, President at Meta Housing, the relationship between income and housing affordability remains a major issue for families  across California.

“Solano County is no exception where the gap between income and housing affordability continues to widen,” says Burke. “Fairfield has faced a shortage of affordable housing for a number of years and demand continues to outpace supply.”

The new development will be comprised of four stories featuring quality amenities such as a large community space, children’s play structure, BBQ area, and central courtyard. One Lake is also conveniently situated near the Fairfield Vacaville Amtrak Station, Vanden High School, the future Lake Park, and a number of restaurants, retail and entertainment.

Additionally, One Lake will offer a mixture of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, ample bike storage and parking spaces.

The 280,398 square-foot property is located at the Northwest corner of Vanden Road and One Lake Drive in Fairfield, California.
