Meta Housing has announced the grand opening of Mosaic on Mission, a newly constructed mixed-use affordable housing community in the Alameda County city of Hayward, California. The development will provide affordable and accessible housing to low-income families and individuals who have faced the challenge of homelessness.

“In areas like Alameda County where housing affordability is especially low, delivering budget-friendly apartment homes for the unsheltered is crucial,” says Kasey Burke, President of Meta Housing. “Mosaic on Mission will help alleviate the critical need for attainable and attractive living spaces for those in need.”

Meta Housing broke ground on Mosaic on Mission in 2021 in an effort to provide high-quality and affordable housing to low-income and homeless individuals and combat the housing crisis in the Greater Bay Area. Two years later, the completed project offers residents a 140-unit affordable housing community, boasting a spacious central courtyard, garden boxes, a movie wall, and bike storage, among other amenities.

“Projects like Mosaic on Mission can truly help elevate the lives of individuals and families who need it most,” says Burke. “A quality apartment community with appealing amenities is an excellent steppingstone towards a better way of life.”

Mosaic on Mission is located at 29505 Mission Blvd., Hayward, California 94544.
