Meta Housing closed the year with an impressive benchmark of completed affordable housing projects, as well as new construction projects underway. The team broke ground on Westlake Apartments in the historic Westlake District of LA, Lucena on Court in historic Filipinotown, and Citrus Crossing Senior Apartments in Glendale. La Paz Apartments in East LA and Westminster Crossing in North Orange County were also opened to the public for residency.
“Given our nimble ability to secure and leverage state and federal tax credits, we are able to arrange complex finance structures that streamline the building process and utilize available funds in the most efficient fashion, bringing projects to life in an impressive timeline,” says Kasey Burke, President at Meta Housing.
“The economic headwinds presented by this year, coupled with ongoing supply chain issues, were faced with precision and persistence by the Meta team. We were able to start new construction on several projects by utilizing our network of reputable partners as well as open new projects to deserving residents,” says Burke.
Looking ahead to 2023, the Meta team looks forward to continuing to provide necessary affordable housing to hundreds of underserved families and individuals.
“We are incredibly grateful to our property management teams, partners across California, and our incredible residents across all properties,” says Burke. “Together, we are able to create apartment communities that infuse vibrancy, inspire community, and support individuals. We look forward to further success in 2023.”
