Main Street Plaza Apartments, located in Roseville, California, recently won the Award of Merit from the National Association of Housing & Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) that met 2022 legislative and regulatory requirements.

“For more than 85 years, the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) has represented and ensured the needs and interests of individuals and organizations that work to advance the affordable housing industry,” says Kasey Burke, President of Meta Housing. “It is a tremendous honor to have our projects acknowledged by such a reputable, ethical, and diligent organization that is made up of hard-working government professionals who have a true grasp on the urgent and unfolding housing needs of today.”

Main Street Plaza, which comprises 65-units, provides housing for low-income families, veterans, and individuals with special needs. The apartment community also features 3,000 square feet of ground floor retail space, as well as a public pedestrian paseo, an outdoor courtyard with BBQ areas, a children’s play area, and a fitness center.

Beyond physical amenities, Meta Housing partnered with LifeSTEPS, a nonprofit organization that serves as the service coordinator for the community, providing life-improving social services to future residents. Meta Housing also partnered with the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System to provide Veteran residents with specialized social services including coordination, education, case management, health, transportation, counseling and advocacy on-site at the community.
